And we have a tooth!!!!

Lola got her first tooth. It is barely out of the skin, but it is there. She didn't even seem to be upset before it came through. She is now spending lots of time with a finger in her mouth, as she feels it. Noah learned about her new tooth when she bit him on the nose... and he didn't even care and thought it was quite funny.

Disneyland

We had a great time at Disneyland. Noah can now go on all the rides except Indiana Jones. It took some coaxing to get him on some of the rides, but he always got off saying that he loved it. He says his favorite ride was the teacups, but that was only because Its A Small World was closed. Space Mountain must take a close second, because Noah talks about it constantly.

Lola was great. She always likes to be outside, and there were so many things to look at. She missed a few naps, but still managed to be in a great mood. Who knew that the pirate ride could be a great place for a snack?

Lola liked playing in the hotel best... and who could argue... nothing better than dirty carpets and bedskirts :)

Looks like everyone had their share of fun at the hotel...

Minnie Mouse move over... her comes Lola Mouse

Uncle Kevin smelled a rat...

Chip? Or Dale? We were never sure...

Bulldogs

We went to the Fresno State Football game with Pops. We had a great time, although the Bulldogs did not play very well.

Noah got to wear all of his Bulldog apparel, but since Lola doesn't have any yet (I am sure Pa-paw will take care of it), we had to improvise. After all, she couldn't be the only one in the stadium not wearing red.

Smokey Bear Run

Noah and Lola went to a race this weekend up at Bass lake. The weather was beautiful and we even got to wear sweatshirts.

Noah ran in the kids 1/4 mile run and he got 3rd place!!!!! Yeah!!!! His time was 2.09.95 and he had a great time. He is so excited to get another trophy and here are some pics with his participation ribbon.

Daddy and Lindsey ran the 10K. They didn't get a trophy, but they had a good time talking and listening to their IPODS (at the same time). We can't wait to get our own IPODS to run with.

Everyone else did the 2 mile walk. Noah walked one of the miles while Lola rode in the stroller. For mile 2, Noah got in the stroller while Lola rode in the wrap. We took some pics afterward... boy are our butts in shape...

We then had a nice picnic lunch by the lake and we are looking forward to doing a few more races next year.

Swinging Time

It was cool enough for us to try out Noah's old swing. Did she like it? See for yourself...

New Tricks

Just one week ago Lola Reed was toppling over onto her face from her sit. Now, she can sit for close to 15 minutes and even lean forward to reach for toys. There are times when she almost goes over, but is able to gain her balance back - it is fun to watch.

She does occasionally fall over backwards when she gets excited. This is a hard fall since our floors are wood, but even so, she rarely cries.

It is so hard to believe she is getting so big!!!

Future Paleontologist??

Noah has a large list of things he wants to be when he grows up...
1- a house cleaner
2- a car washer
3- a house builder (he wants to be the person that tells everyone else what to do)
4- a paleontologist

And he wants to do them all at the same time.

Here he is practicing the skills for the last one. He got a kit from the school book fair that allowed him to use a hammer and chisel to discover treasure and a treasure chest. He had a great time, but boy was it messy. Thank goodness we were outside.
