Saint Patrick's Day

We of course wore green for Saint Patrick's day!! And, of course mom made us take pictures - again. She has to take pictures of everything!! She says that someday we will appreciate it, but right now it just gets in the way of our playing.

This is my new shirt that Auntie Courtney bought me. I think it is so cute! It reminds me of pigeon in the "Don't Let The Pigeon Drive the Bus" books. Plus the pigeon looks crazy - just like me!

Lola had a special outfit for Saint Patricks day. It was covered in shamrocks.

And here is Lola proving what mommy always says... that she doesn't like toys and always plays with things that she isn't supposed to have. In this case, at least she is carrying it with the points down - she is such a smart girl.

Lola was not at all interested in taking these pictures. She was ready for her bath. Mommy tried anyway.

She did a little bit better when mommy let her hold Dora - but not much!

We went to Santa Rosa for a Rugby game and while we were there, we got to meet up with some friends. It was total chaos and there were 3 mommies, 3 daddies, and 6 kids. But, boy did we have fun. We went to Bodega Bay and although it wasn't very warm (or sunny), we had a blast.

I think we should have picnics at the beach every day mom!!

I had so much fun!!

Afterwards, we were very dirty. Maddie and I went for a dip in the ocean. It was cold, but so much fun!

Lola also had a blast, but she didn't like it when people got near her toys... in these pictures she is saying, "No thank you!" and, "Please leave my toys alone".

Prima Ballerina

Lola got a new tutu from our friend Danielle and boy is mommy in heaven. I suspect that mommy might even be a tad bit jealous. Mommy has been dancing around the house trying to get Lola to pirouette (but we think that she just wanted an excuse to dance around the house)!

Blossom Trail

The weather was gorgeous this weekend and we went over to Sanger for the Blossom Trail Run. It was a lot of fun and out of the 7 of us, 4 people got a trophy. I think that is pretty good!

The day started off cold...

We quickly warmed up after our 2 mile run / walk and we began shedding layers while we waited for Lindsey to finish her longer, more grueling run.

In a flash, Linsey went by. She looks like she is posing for an Adidas ad - not at all like she just ran 6 miles.

Kevin, Lindsey, and Memaw all got 3rd in their age groups.

Katie was the best finisher - she got 2nd for her 2 mile run!!! Go Katie!!

Noah did well, and was only 7 seconds from getting first place!! He didn't mind - he had a lot of fun and cant wait for the next race!!
